Botulinum Therapy

Botulinum therapy is an aesthetic procedure during which a naturally purified protein—a substance containing botulinum toxin type A—is injected under the skin using a very fine needle. It temporarily relaxes the activity of facial expression (mimic) muscles while preserving natural facial movement.
The use of botulinum toxin prevents facial aging.
Indications for botulinum therapy include: • Glabellar lines (frown lines) • Wrinkles around the eyes (crow's feet) • Horizontal forehead lines • Nose shape correction • Neck rejuvenation • Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) of the armpits, palms, and soles
The initial result becomes visible 4-5 days after the injection and lasts up to 6-8 months.
